The motor has a label which will list the HP. To
see this label, you will need to loosen the set
screw on the shaft side of the blower and loosen
the motor mounting band on the opposite side of
the set screw and slide the motor out about 1 to
3 inches to expose this label. Replace the motor
run capacitor anytime a motor is replaced. The
capcitor size is listed in the specification data for the motor on the Grainger site.
Fluorescent lamps are T12 single pin linear tubes. Lamps can be purchased by the

For Pure Aire laminar flow products that have lighting using fluorescent tubes: This
system uses a ballast which regulates the current and provides the voltage
required to start the lamps. The Advanced ballast SM-2E40-S-TP and
R-2E75-S-TP used in our workstations were discontinued by Pure Aire June 2011
and may be obsolete. The current ballast being used with the T12 lamps is the
GE-260-IS-MV-N. This ballast can be used to replace the above ballast but the
wiring will need to be changed. It is
recommended an electrician be
contracted to perform this work(linked
below). If the workstation has the
GE-260-IS-MV-N ballast replacing is simplified. For workstations/modules using
the T5 lamps the ballast being used is the WH3-120, (3 & 4 foot units) WH5-120 (5
and 6 foot units) and the WH7-120. (8 foot units) These ballast can purchased from
zoro.com, 1000bulbs.com or amazon.com to list a few.
